










The off-grid cape was built over three summers on a small Island in Muscongus Bay. Tucked into the oak trees, its vernacular design hearkens to centuries past.

Chamfered spruce joists contrast with reclaimed oiled floorboards to comprise the ceiling of the living room. Custom moulding runs throughout the house.

Light pours into the studio, bringing out the warm tones of the southern yellow pine floor. A reclaimed mantle surrounds the brick fireplace.
